Do I need to download an app?
No. Fretlist runs in your browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen like an app, with no app store involved. How to install it.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Your songs and setlists are saved on your device, so Fretlist keeps working without an internet connection, Play Mode included.
Can I bring my songs from OnSong, SongbookPro or Ultimate Guitar?
Yes. Drop in an OnSong or SongbookPro backup, or paste a song from Ultimate Guitar. ChordPro, PDF, Word and plain text work too. Scanned PDFs (photos of paper) can’t be read yet. Importing from Ultimate Guitar.

How does it work for a band or group?
The Bands plan gives everyone one shared library and shared setlists, for up to 15 people (you included); members pay nothing. Each member keeps their own capo, instrument and transpose, and their own private notes.
Is Fretlist really free?
Yes. The free plan has every feature, up to 50 songs and 3 setlists. Until 1 November everything is free and unlimited. After that, Pro is €24 a year and the Bands plan is €58 a year for the whole band. Early Access members who upgrade by 1 December pay half price for life.
Can I export my songs?
Yes. Export your entire library at any time as ChordPro, PDF, Word, or plain text. No lock-in. Your music is always yours.
Does Fretlist show chord diagrams?
Yes. Fretlist renders fingering diagrams for the chords in your songs, for guitar and ukulele. In Play Mode a section-aware Frets panel shows only the chords for the section you’re currently playing. See the full guide.
Does Fretlist support ChordPro?
Yes, fully. Import .cho and .pro files, edit ChordPro directly in the editor, and export back out. Custom directives and non-standard notation are preserved during import.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Your songs are stored securely and are only accessible by you, your band if you are in one, and anyone you send a share link. Fretlist never holds your data hostage.
